Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on 28 October 1967, in Atlanta. She is an extended family of Robertses, the 4th generation that reside in the Atlanta area beginning by her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. At an early age, her father started to be interested in the theater. He performed on at the Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions in Atlanta. When he was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he was part of a military unit in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple married and then in 1956 their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. The year 1957 was the year they left the airforce and Walter began studying at Tulane. In 1960, the couple moved in Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The year 1964 was when Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on a local children's Saturday morning TV show titled Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by themselves. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou founded the Actors and Writers Workshop. It lasted for six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) and Julia (also called Julie) at the time.
